The Orca Shorts are developed for high-speed sailing, crafted from a 3-layer GORE-TEX® PRO Stretch Technology nylon fabric with two-way stretch and lined with polyamide tricot. The shorts are wind and waterproof with high breathability for optimal functionality and freedom of movement during physically demanding sailing activities. Reinforcement fabric on the back over the seat and down towards the legs, along with VECTRAN TECHSTEEL® reinforcement on the inside of the leg cuffs and inside of the waist band, provide extra protection and durability.
The shorts feature a DWR treatment with water-repellent properties to prevent the outer fabric from getting wet, as well as a higher back panel lined with molded neoprene for support, warmth, and comfort. At the front, the pants have a water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zipper with a welded inner button placket to protect against water intrusion. The shorts also have a Velcro-reinforced double button closure for secure fastening. The waist can be easily adjusted with elastic medical tape and wide grip straps with Velcro closure to provide a customized and comfortable fit that stays in place during physical activity.
The leg cuffs have an inner cuff made of a 3-layer waterproof stretch fabric that can be adjusted with medical tape and Velcro closure, providing secure protection against wind and water ingress. Equipped with two spacious front leg pockets with water-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zippers and laser-cut drainage holes. Designed with Sail Racing and GORE-TEX® PRO logo on the right leg pocket and a 3D high-frequency molded block logo in the middle of the back panel.
